化学成分
全草含大量的毛莨黄素（flavoxanthin）、菊黄质（Chrysanthemaxanthin），及少量的β-胡萝卜素（β-carotene）。还含千里光宁碱（senecionine），千里光菲灵碱（seneciphylline）及氢酯（hydroquinone），对-羟基苯乙酸（p-hydroxyphenylacetic acid），香草酸（vanillic acid），水杨酸（salicylic acid），焦粘酸（pyromucic acid）。此外还含挥发油，黄酮甙，鞣质等成分。
花中含类中胡萝卜素（carotenoid）。
